(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, said today that it will hold a press conference at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at the National Press Conference to announce the filing of a class action lawsuit on behalf of U.S. postal workers who worked at the Brentwood Postal Facility in Washington, DC against Postmaster General John E. Potter and senior postal officials. The lawsuit alleges the postal workers’ Fifth Amendment rights were violated by Potter and others when they withheld information concerning the contamination of the Brentwood mail facility with the deadly anthrax pathogen in October, 2001.
