COURT GIVES JUDICIAL WATCH A GREEN LIGHT TO PURSUE HILLARY CLINTON AND OTHERS FOR MISUSE OF FBI FILES

Watchdog group allowed to discover how White House got confidential data

The case that seeks damages for the abuse of FBI files for political purposes by the Clinton White House will go forward, according to a ruling issued today by Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. That suit, filed by the watchdog organization Judicial Watch on behalf of former Bush and Reagan employees, names as defendants Hillary Clinton, Bernard Nussbaum, Craig Livingstone, Anthony Marceca, the White House and the FBI. Attorneys for the government, for Hillary Clinton, and for the other defendants had moved to dismiss but their arguments were rejected by the Court. The Chairman of Judicial Watch, Larry Klayman stated "the ruling again proves that nobody in this country is above the law."

Judicial Watch now plans to proceed with discovery of all parties.
