TESTIMONY SUFFICIENT TO MANDATE IMMEDIATE APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT COUNSEL In testimony today, Harold Ickes admitted, under oath, that "the President specifically asked me to handle [the Warren Medoff political solicitation]." This admission implicates the President in a clear-cut violation of the Hatch Act. Larry Klayman, Chairman of Judicial Watch, the group that found John Huang and uncovered the campaign finance scandal, stated: "Ickes has now directly implicated the President in a clear-cut violation of law.
