Cites Fine Reputation of U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and Judge Herself

FULL, SWIFT PUBLIC DISCLOSURE NEEDED TO MAINTAIN PUBLIC CONFIDENCE

(Washington, August 2) Today, Judicial Watch sent the enclosed letter to Chief Judge Norma Hollaway Johnson concerning recent allegations by the Associated Press that criminal cases concerning the Clinton Administration were not randomly assigned, but instead sent to recent appointees of the President. In the letter, Judicial Watch highlights the fine reputation of Judge Johnson and the other judges of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and underscores why full and swift public disclosure is necessary to preserve the public's confidence in the judicial system.

The letter is self-explanatory, and can be found by visiting JudicialWatch.org.
