JOHNNY CHUNG TO ADDRESS POLITICAL CORRUPTION ISSUES AT JUDICIAL WATCH 5th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Chung's Speech to Anti-Corruption Group To Break New Ground In Chinagate Scandal

Speech Scheduled for October 23 at Pasadena Hilton

(Washington, D.C.) Judicial Watch, a not-for-profit law firm that exposes and prosecutes government corruption, announced that Johnny Chung, a former funding source for Bill and Hillary Clinton's political campaigns, will make some startling revelations in a speech to the group during its 5th Anniversary Celebration in Pasadena, California on October 23, 1999.

Johnny Chung, who is a key witness in the Chinagate scandal, will make a speech which will break new ground in this ongoing controversy. Chung, who has likened the Clinton White House to subway gate that opens when one puts coins into it, will talk of the money-for-access culture in Washington that infects both political parties. Chung is also expected to give new information on the Clinton Justice Department's and other investigators' obstruction of justice in the Chinagate scandal.

Chung, despite his involvement in Chinagate, continues to be solicited for campaign monies by Hillary Clinton and Al Gore.

"Johnny Chung has come forward to tell the truth about Chinagate at some risk to himself. Chung has suffered for his wrongs, but those who have taken advantage of him and his donations - including Bill and Hillary Clinton - have yet to be held accountable. Judicial Watch is committed to rectifying this," stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
