Year 2000 To Be Crucial In Bringing The Clintons And Other Corrupt Government Officials To Justice (Washington, D.C.) Founded in July 1994, as a volunteer group financed by Larry Klayman with his personal funds, Judicial Watch, Inc., the anti-government corruption watchdog public interest group, now has offices on each coast, over 30 employees and is now interviewing to hire even more. The reason: as the year 2000 approaches, many of Judicial Watch's lawsuits are coming to trial, and the heavy lifting to bring back justice, subverted to an extreme in the corrupt Clinton Administration, must now begin. As a result, while litigation expenses have been heavy in 1999 -- exceeding 1998 when Judicial Watch was not so heavily staffed as it is today -- they will skyrocket in 2000, since the cost of going into trial on a number of fronts is enormous. In addition, with Judicial Watch's increased commitments with a West Coast Office, and the to-be-opened Southwest and Midwestern Offices, continued support from the hundreds of thousands of the organization's members is crucial. In addition, the elite establishment media has, with the 2000 elections on the horizon, nearly shut down its coverage of Clinton administration corruption, or for that matter of any politician. Only Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity of Fox News are left to truly represent anti-establishment and conservative views. For this reason, Judicial Watch has had to step up its educational function, recently starting a national radio show from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Saturdays (aired locally on WWRC at AM 570 from 9:00-11:00 P.M. on Wednesdays), The Judicial Watch Report (also found on its website at www.judicialwatch.org), as well as producing a "60 Minutes"-style syndicated television documentary, which will initially be aired monthly. Judicial Watch's direct mail and extensive website add to its educational reach, so people will know what we stand for, have accomplished, and where we are going. "Our huge legal litigation effort -- which will go into overdrive in 2000 -- must be complemented by a campaign to reeducate those morally bankrupt Americans who think that leaders like the Clintons are great for this country, and who have lost sight of basic Judeo-Christian values," stated Larry Klayman and Tom Fitton, Chairman and President of Judicial Watch. "As we head into trial in a number of cases in the year 2000, results in court will be what restores the rule of law, and hopefully contributes to saving the nation," they added. "Let the word then go out, that the American people waged a second successful revolution, this time in the courts, before honest and non-political judges and juries, so that the example will be set that we will never again have to confront a totally corrupt White House, which violates our privacy rights and sells our high technology to enemies," they added. | |
