JUDICIAL WATCH TO PETITION COURT FOR EXPEDITED ACTION IN ELIAN MATTER

Public Needs To Know Why Its Government Is Behaving Like And Backing Communist Thugs

Why Did Clinton-Gore Administration Risk Elian’s Life?

(Washington, D.C.) Why was it necessary to use “storm troopers” to invade the home of Elian Gonzalez’ Miami family and risk the life of this innocent 6 year old boy? Why would the Clinton-Gore Administration, which never does anything which is not politically-based, guarantee the loss of the State of Florida during the 2000 elections? The answer lies in its relationship with Fidel Castro.

Judicial Watch has petitioned the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to order the Reno Justice Department to release all records concerning the Elian Gonzalez saga. This became necessary when the agency typically stonewalled and did not produce one document in response to Freedom of Information Act Requests.

With the use and display of deadly force in Miami today, and the real possibility of another WACO style massacre, it is more important than ever for the American people to learn the real reasons why the Clinton-Gore Administration and its pliant Attorney General would become the law firm for a Communist dictator, Fidel Castro, who continues to oppress and murder his own people. Once these answers are known, Judicial Watch will take further legal action.

“To become the advocate of this tyrant, the Clinton-Gore Administration either is subject to blackmail, or it is in bed with Communist Cuba. Judicial Watch will ask the Court to expedite its case this Monday, April 24, 2000, so the facts will come out before this entire saga turns into a worse tragedy. Already the American dream has been defiled and desecrated by a President and Attorney General who are behaving like the Communists they claim they oppose,” stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
