What: Press Conference on Lawsuits Filed Over Elian Raid Against Reno, Holder, Meissner Who: Donato Dalrymple, Other Victims of Illegal Raid, Larry Klayman of Judicial Watch When: 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2000 (Washington, DC) A press conference will be held today on the steps of the Federal Courthouse in Miami to discuss Donato Dalrymple's $100 million lawsuit against Attorney General Janet Reno, Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder, and INS Commissioner Doris Meissner for violating his Fourth and Fifth Amendment Constitutional rights during the raid on the home of the relatives of Elian Gonzalez. Also attending the press conference will be Larry Klayman, Chairman and General Counsel of Judicial Watch, Inc. Judicial Watch is representing Mr. Dalrymple. In addition, other victims of the Elian raid will discuss their separate lawsuit over their being beaten and gassed during the illegal raid of the Gonzalez family home. |
