The Judicial Watch Report Radio Show

Bill Maher "Off the Cuff"

Star of Politically Incorrect Appears on the Judicial Watch Report

(Washington, DC) On Saturday's edition of The Judicial Watch Report, hosts Larry Klayman and Tom Fitton were joined by TV star, Bill Maher, host of ABC's Politically Incorrect.

Maher joined the Judicial Watch Report with a light hearted, "tongue-in-cheek" look at American politics. "I am definitely for the idea of killing people. I am pro-death, I am pro-death penalty, pro-assisted suicide, I am pro-regular suicide. I am pro-anything that will get the freeway moving faster."

When asked how his show was doing, Maher commented, "we had a good sweeps month in May...when they take the ratings...one was in prisons and one was in Playboy." Tom Fitton added, "interesting...you must have been in 7th heaven there in the Playboy mansion." Maher replied, "actually I'm gay, so I liked the prison (laughter)."

"What do you think of Gore in comparison to Bush?," asked Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman. Maher said cynically, "I hate them!! I hate Gore because he's an amoral automaton just like Bush. I have made it no secret that I don't like either one of them. The only reason I would prefer [Gore] is that he's smarter--not hard to do--and he's better on the environment. Bush would be funnier, because dumb is always funny for comedians." The views of Judicial Watch Report guests do not necessarily reflect those of the organization, and Judicial Watch does not endorse or oppose any political candidate.

Earlier in the week, Judicial Watch client Donato Dalrymple and Larry Klayman appeared on Politically Incorrect to discuss the Elian saga.

Also appearing on today's show were special guests, Howard Phillips Constitution Party Presidential Candidate and Miami lawyer, Jack Thompson.
