The Judicial Watch Report Radio Show E-Mail Scandal Explodes!

Evidentiary Hearing Discloses White House Used Incompetent Contractor to Delay E-Mail Production Until After 2000 Elections

Whistleblower Betty Lambuth Testifies that the White House Coverup Continues

(Washington, D.C.)On Saturday’s edition of The Judicial Watch Report, hosts Larry Klayman and Tom Fitton were joined by Judicial Watch client and White House whistleblower, Betty Lambuth and special guests, Paul Rodriguez and Paul Sperry.

Betty Lambuth, a former subcontractor who worked with Northup Grumman and who uncovered the mismanagement of countless White House e-mails, said she was threatened to keep quiet. "Knowing the criticality of this and the fact there are many subpoenas out by the court, I took this information about the [missing e-mails] to my government supervisor, Laura Crabtree. She told me that she had been instructed by Mark Lindsey to tell my staff that if I or any of my staff spoke about these e-mails, we would be arrested, thrown in jail...we would lose our jobs."

WorldNetDaily.com’s Washington Bureau Chief Paul Sperry revealed that even after whistleblowers Sheryl Hall and Betty Lambuth came forward, the threats and obstruction continued at the White House. “The White House hired two DNC lawyers to coach e-mail witnesses. So many computer workers complained about their threats and intimidation that the White House was forced to quietly remove one of the lawyers. Paul Rodriguez, Managing Editor of Insight Magazine, who is credited for breaking the story of the missing White House e-mails, said the White House is clearly worried about the content of the e-mails. "I’m told by ‘West Wing’ officials, that there are tens of thousands of e-mails that were never copied," said Rodriguez. "Their concern is two-fold: one... they don’t know what’s in the e-mails, two...they’re not certain if they are legally in serious jeopardy for failure to turn [the e-mails] over."

Sperry added that the White House’s reaction to the investigation is a strategy to move attention away from the scandal. "This critical evidentiary hearing was finally forced because of all of [the White House’s] funny business." Judge Lamberth finally got impatient and held this hearing. What do they do? The morning of the hearing, they announce that, ‘oh!...by the way, we’ve just started copying the tapes.’ It’s a strategy that the White House uses over and over when the heat is on and the media pays attention to the scandal. Sperry’s article today, entitled White House Defies Judge in E-mail Case, can be accessed at WorldNetDaily.com.
