E-MAIL EVIDENTIARY HEARING RESUMES 10:30 AM, THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2000

(Washington, D.C.) An evidentiary hearing on the White House's failure to formulate a timely and viable plan to produce missing e-mail in the burgeoning e-mail scandal resumes on Thursday, July 20, at 10:30 a.m. before the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth. The hearing is expected to focus on an expeditious technical demonstration of a timely means to copy and retrieve the White House e-mails at issue.

In previous testimony the Clinton-Gore administration's witness, Chief Warrant Officer Terrence Misich (USA), who is overseeing the White House project to restore the missing e-mail, confirmed the administration passed over a highly experience data retrieval firm for the job, in favor of a relatively inexperienced one. It was also discovered that the White House never informed Judge Lamberth of the "delays" in "lost" e-mail copying and retrieval.

All members of the public and the media are invited to attend. A press conference will follow the day's proceedings on the courthouse steps.
