Judicial Watch Chairman To Address Freedom Rally In Miami

Reno's Malfeasance, Collaboration with Castro to be Bannered at July 23 Event

(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno's heavy-handed disregard for law and the rights of U.S. citizens will be brought into sharp focus on Sunday, July 23, when Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman speaks at a "Freedom Rally" in Miami's Tropical Park organized by the Impeach Reno organization.

Judicial Watch, a non-partisan public interest organization, represents Donato Dalrymple and nearly 50 "Little Havana" residents and visitors whose rights were violated and who suffered physical injuries when armed INS agents illegally stormed the "Little Havana" neighborhood last April to snatch refugee child Elian Gonzalez away from those caring for him.

"The Little Havana raid was just the latest in a string of actions by Reno that have put the personal and political interests of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Al Gore and their cohorts above those of the country and its citizens," Klayman says.

Other speakers at the rally, which starts at 1 p.m., include Donato Dalrymple, one of the men who saved Elian at sea, Pedro Luis Diaz Lanz, former commander and chief of the Cuban air force and Jack Thompson, an attorney and activist.

Tropical Park is located at 7900 SW 40th Street in Miami.
