E-MAILGATE COURT HEARING TODAY AT 9:30 AM

DATE: Friday, October 13, 2000

TIME: 9:30 a.m.

PLACE: U.S. Federal Courthouse
Third and Constitution Avenue, NW

COURTROOM: 9

(Washington, DC) Following revelations that the Clinton-Gore White House’s key witness, Michelle Peterson, Esq., was not truthful in court testimony, a court hearing will be held today at 9:30 a.m. to discuss outstanding issues in the ongoing evidentiary hearing of alleged obstruction of justice in the White House e-mail scandal.

Deputy Independent Counsel Jay Apperson’s letter to the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth (see “Ray aide steps into Filegate lawsuit - Lawyer’s account called ‘inaccurate,’” The Washington Times, Thursday, October 12, 2000, by Jerry Seper) forwarded information to the court which explodes the defense of the Clinton-Gore Administration that the suppression of hundreds of thousands of missing e-mail was just another “bureaucratic snafu.”

A press conference will be held on the Courthouse steps following the hearing. All members of the media and public are invited to attend.
