WESTWOOD ONE RADIO’S JIM BOHANNON TO MODERATE JUDICIAL WATCH ETHICS IN GOVERNMENT PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

Over 600 Expected for Debate at Ronald Reagan Center – All Third Party Candidates To Participate

DATE: Friday, October 20, 2000

TIME: 8:00 p.m.

PLACE: Ronald Reagan Building &
International Trade Amphitheater

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that Jim Bohannon, nationally syndicated radio talk show host on the Westwood One radio network, has agreed to serve as moderator for Judicial Watch’s Ethics in Government Presidential Debate. The debate will take place on October 20 in Washington DC’s Ronald Reagan Center at 8:00 p.m.

Bohannon joins panelists Paul Rodriguez (Insight Magazine), Joe Farah (WorldNetDaily.com), Blanquita Cullum (Radio America) and Armstrong Williams (nationally-syndicated columnist and radio host). Another liberal panelist will be added in the days ahead.

“We are especially pleased that Jim Bohannon will moderate Judicial Watch’s Ethics in Government Presidential Debate. This is the first opportunity for the American people to hear the candidates’ position on one the most important issues facing the public – integrity in government,’ stated Larry Klayman, Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel.

“All the major third party candidates will be in attendance. The only question is whether Vice President Gore will keep his earlier, much-publicized promise to come to our debate. Either way we’re saving space for both Gore and Governor Bush, neither of whom have addressed government ethics in a serious manner so far in the campaign,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
