C-SPAN TO COVER JUDICIAL WATCH’S ETHICS IN GOVERNMENT 2000 PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

America’s Voice and Other Cable Providers to Also Telecast

DATE: TODAY

TIME: 8:00 pm

PLACE: Ronald Reagan Building Amphitheater

(Washington, DC) The Judicial Watch Presidential Ethics in Government 2000 will be widely broadcast on television and radio. Indeed, the debate – which is one of a kind – is dedicated to “How to Restore Ethics in Government,” after eight years of a deepening slide towards corruption. Yesterday, Libertarian Presidential Candidate Harry Browne, Constitution Party Presidential Candidate Howard Phillips, and Natural Law Party Presidential Candidate John Hagelin confirmed their appearances to discuss this hot issue. Surprisingly, Reform Party Presidential Candidate Patrick J. Buchanan broke his firm written commitment to Judicial Watch, stating that he would not debate unless Al Gore were present. Given his previous howls of being excluded from the Presidential Commission Debates, Buchanan’s decision is strikingly strange, and offends his supporters, several of whom are attending the event.

The debate will be moderated by Jim Bohannon, of Westwood One, with panelists Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily.com, Paul Rodriguez of Insight Magazine, Ellen Ratner of FOX News Channel, Blanquita Cullum of Radio America, and Armstrong Williams (nationally-syndicated columnist and radio host).
