JUDGE LAMBERTH CONTINUES E-MAIL TRIAL WITH TESTIMONY OF EARL SILBERT
Judicial Watch Believes Silbert Informed
Date: Wednesday, December 20, 2000
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Place: Federal Courthouse Third & Constitution Avenue, NW Washington, DC
Courtroom: 21 – 4th Floor
(Washington, D.C.) Pursuant to a recent Court Order, which required that former U.S. Attorney Earl Silbert, who represents Northrop Grumman, retake the witness stand, the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth will conduct an evidentiary hearing tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20, 2000, concerning the ever-growing e-mail scandal of the Clinton-Gore White House.
“If, as believed, Silbert informed Ruff of the threats to Northrop Grumman employees – which threats were intended to keep them silent about the e-mail coverup – this will implicate the Clinton-Gore White House even further in a huge criminal obstruction of justice,” stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.
Judge Lamberth has ordered the parties to file Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law on or before January 9, 2001. This should enable the Court to issue a ruling in January.
A press conference will follow on the courthouse steps each day after the hearing.
