JAMES CARVILLE SERVED DURING BOOK SIGNING CEREMONY

GENNIFER FLOWERS FILED COMPLAINT FOR DEFAMATION

(Washington, D.C.) On February 8, 2000, James Carville was served with a complaint filed by Gennifer Flowers against Mrs. Clinton, George Stephanopoulos, and James Carville for alleged defamation and other claims. In the case of Mrs. Clinton, she was also sued for violation of privacy rights.

Presumably, Mr. Carville was signing copies of his new book, Stickin'. In this book, Carville extolls the virtues of loyalty. Absent from the book, however, is a discussion of the virtues of being truthful with the media and respecting the rights of women. "Gennifer Flowers and other women represented by Judicial Watch who have been wronged by President and Mrs. Clinton and their collaborators will not rest until justice has been served. Some day perhaps they can write their own book entitled, How We Legally Stuck It' to the Clintons and Their Collaborators," stated Judicial Watch Chairman Larry Klayman.
