When the Supreme Court sought to temporarily disbar Bill Clinton for perjury and obstruction of justice, JW and its supporters called upon the Court to make the decision permanent.
Rather than fight a lengthy legal and public relations battle with JW and others, Clinton resigned from the Supreme Court, and will therefore remain unable to argue cases for several years.
“Whether or not Clinton ever intended to argue a case again is not the point,” said JW President Tom Fitton. “This is another in a long line of disgraces which will permanently render Bill Clinton among the most corrupt leaders the nation has ever seen.”
Judicial Watch had originally sought disbarment of Clinton in its complaint filed on behalf of JW client Dolly Kyle Browning and will seek to permanently prevent Clinton from practicing law.
