JESSE JACKSON SUED BY JW
Assaults, Threatens Conservative Black Activist Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson

On December 10, Jesse Jackson continued his long string of embarrassing and improper behavior and showed, once again, that he is unfit to be a national leader.

The civil rights activist, along with his son Jonathan and television personality Judge Gregory Mathis, assaulted and threatened civil rights activist Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson at an L.A. civic event. Reverend Peterson is a long-time critic of Jackson’s racist tactics and the questionable 501(c)(3) status of his Rainbow Push Coalition.

Judicial Watch filed suit on December 16 in California State Court.

Jackson, who runs the Rainbow Push Coalition, hosted the event which featured speakers from Toyota announcing the company’s “21st Century Diversity Strategy.” After Reverend Peterson made a presentation to Toyota, Jackson’s group violently attacked him.

According to the complaint, “Over the next several minutes, the crowd grew and escalated into a very loud, unruly, and threatening mob.” The Reverend was then shoved by Jackson’s son Jonathan and called a “nigger,” while Judge Mathis shouted at him to leave, “before you get your [expletive] kicked.” The Reverend Jackson could be heard screaming for someone to “get his [expletive] out of here!”

Reverend Peterson justifiably feared for his life.

“Jesse Jackson and his collaborators should be ashamed of themselves,” said JW Chairman Larry Klayman. “They will be held accountable under the rule of law.”

The Reverend Peterson is the founder and chairman of the Brotherhood Organization for a New Destiny (BOND).

On Monday, January 21, BOND held its “Third Annual National Day of Repudiation of Jesse Jackson.” Reverend Peterson told WorldNetDaily.com that he will hold the event every single year “until Jesse Jackson repents of his wrongdoings.” Jackson came under fire last year when it was revealed he had a child out of wedlock, and used non-profit monies to pay for his mistress.

On February 4th, Jackson was personally served with the lawsuit. Now he has no choice but to take responsibility for his actions.
