READERS FORUM

Dear Readers:

This past month we received numerous letters asking about our apparent slowness in depositing contributions and membership renewals over the past 10 weeks. Some checks which were mailed in early October did not reach us until late December. Of course, this caused some concern among our generous friends who worried that their checks were lost.

Because all correspondence to JW is processed through the main Washington, D.C. Post Office, a great deal of our mail was delayed because of the recent terrorist events. We have been told that we have now received all the mail that was sent to us.

As we didn’t get the mail very quickly, we seemed to have been very slow in acknowledging gifts. Please know, this is not our intention. We greatly appreciate the generosity of all who make financial sacrifices to support our efforts. We continue our work and welcome your cards and letters.

Dear Editor:

May I have your permission to make copies of your newsletter to send to my state and federal legislators? I’d like to start with Volume 4, Issue 10 which has info on terrorism, Clinton, Condit, Reno, etc.

We need more groups like J.W.!

Editor’s Response: You (and all Judicial Watch supporters) are granted blanket permission to copy, reprint, or quote copyrighted material as long as the source is acknowledged. We encourage you and others to contact your representatives to promote government integrity at every level. We also thank you for your kind words. Knowing that we have your support makes our work a little easier and a lot more rewarding every day.

Dear Editor:

I would like to know the reason why there’s a cover-up of misdeeds of our elected officials. Seems to my thinking that what ever is done should be out in the open.

National security can cover almost everything. Just like the official report of Kennedy’s death. Most people involved will be long gone when that report is opened up.

Top secrets are given to other nations not by the public, but appointed people to offices, as in the case of Wen Ho Lee.

Editor’s response: Crooked politicians, since the beginning of recorded time, have tried to hide their misdeeds. That’s why the work of Judicial Watch is so important. Our cases against Wen Ho Lee and others are critical to expose the truth and bring about justice.
