Flowers Gets Court Date on Valentines Day

On February 14, Valentines Day, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco heard arguments on behalf of Gennifer Flowers in her defamation lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, James Carville and George Stephanopoulos, among others. Larry Klayman represented Ms. Flowers and infamous impeachment defense lawyer David Kendall was present on behalf of Mrs. Clinton.

The lawsuit was originally filed more than two years ago. Following is an excerpt from the complaint:

“From the 1992 presidential campaign to the present, defendants Carville and Stephanopoulos, and those acting in concert with them, have, at the direction of Defendant Clinton, continuously libeled and slandered Plaintiff, Gennifer Flowers, as well as held her in a false light, in order to smear, defame and harm her.

“Plaintiff had been implicated by the media in a personal relationship with Bill Clinton, and the conduct of Defendants was a means to destroy her credibility, reputation, livelihood, emotion well-being and deflect attention away from the truth.”
