Ronald C. Kline allegedly had digital images of minors engaged in sex on a disk in his home. In his diary, he allegedly described, among other things, stalking young boys. What makes this story all the more disturbing is the fact that Ronald C. Kline is also a judge in Orange County, California.
Judge Kline was arrested last November by federal marshals for possessing child pornography. He surrendered himself to authorities at the Santa Ana courthouse after investigators found ample evidence in his home.
Judicial Watch has asked the Commission on Judicial Performance and the Presiding Judge of Orange County to act and remove Kline from the bench, pending further proceedings undertaken by the Commission.
“Judge Kline’s actions have disgraced the entire Judiciary and the legal profession, and the Commission needs to act immediately,” said Sterling Norris, former Deputy District Attorney of Los Angeles County and Director of JW’s Judicial Monitoring Project.
Judge Kline’s behavior was targeted by Judicial Watch’s Judicial Monitoring Project, a program that helps make the judiciary accountable to the people by monitoring and reporting on the behavior of judges and lawyers. For more questions, contact Judicial Watch’s west coast office at (626)287-4540.
