Rendell Runs, Away from Criminal Past
JW Lawsuit Against Former DNC Chairman Scheduled to go to Court Soon

Ed Rendell can run for governor, but he cannot run from his criminal past, or the fight for justice currently being waged against him by Judicial Watch. Soon the former Chair of the Democratic National Committee will be in a court of law answering for his role in the 1998 beating of Don and Teri Adams, two individuals peacefully protesting a rally for Bill Clinton organized by Rendell.

According to evidence compiled by JW during its investigation, Rendell personally recruited Teamsters Boss John Morris and his Local 115 chapter to intimidate any Clinton protesters during the event.

"Rendell invited the Teamsters onto the premises knowing they were dangerous individuals," said JW Chairman Larry Klayman. "He knew, or should have known, that he was dealing with potentially lethal weapons."

JW has already deposed Rendell on two occasions in the case. During Rendellšs last visit on August 2, he was both evasive and confrontational at times. While allegedly lying under oath during his deposition, he also lost his temper at times, provoking confrontations with both Mr. Klayman and defendant Don Adams.

JW neither endorses nor opposes candidates or legislation. Ed Rendell has every right to run for governor, just as Judicial Watch has every right to bring him to justice!
