Former Congressman Bob Dornan Speaks Out on the JW Report On Jack Daly... The only way that pain, both physical and career-wise, could be assuaged, would be to be honored by your Government, get a medal, and have your family realize that you put yourself in jeopardy on an intelligence mission. But to have your country betray you -- that would be unbearable. On Corrupt Members of Congress... I think Daschle is the creepiest person I ever served with, and that says a lot. I served with him in the House. He’s one of these guys that would float around, never speak, never say anything, never submit legislation. People wonder how this strange little passive-aggressive person became the leader of the U.S. Senate. Everybody said, well, let's turn to Daschle for two years. On the Democrats… Remember that on the Democrat side of the aisle, this is not the stupid party now, but the ones that only think about power. They don’t believe there is such a creature as a domestic enemy. They don’t think that's such a thing. They’re still defending Alger Hiss and the Hollywood Ten. On the Inept House Intelligence Committee… A lot of people in the House who are very ambitious don’t want to get on it because it doesn’t serve them in their district it won’t advance them politically. So what do the Democrats particularly, and even the Republicans do? They put people on it who had safe seats and who know nothing about it and aren’t that interested. They put it on as a feather in their cap. On Louis Freeh and George Tenet… Louis Freeh may have been a good sock-it-to-him judge and all of that, but he did not have the background to be head of the FBI. The worst one is George Tenet. He was a staffer on the Senate Intelligence Committee. He had no background in intelligence and still doesn’t.
