Judicial Watch Lawyers Travel to Brazil to Push Paul Case

On November 19, Judicial Watch attorneys made a voyage to Brazil to continue their work on Peter Paul’s campaign fraud case against Bill and Hillary Clinton. Judicial Watch and Mr. Paul are seeking a deal with the Justice Department that would bring the former Clinton campaign contributor back to the United States to continue his pursuit of justice. Either way, Mr. Paul is expected to come back to the U.S. where he can better confront the Clintons over their illegalities.

Mr. Paul’s case against the Clintons can be traced back to August 12, 2000. On that night, celebrities such as Cher, Brad Pitt and John Travolta paid tribute to Bill Clinton during a star-studded Hollywood gala funded to the tune of $2 million by Mr. Paul. The event grossed an additional $1.5 million for Hillary’s Senate campaign. None of Mr. Paul’s contributions were reported to the Federal Election Commission, as is required by law, placing Mr. Paul in legal jeopardy.

Moreover, the Clintons lied to the media, saying they did not realize Mr. Paul had organized the event. Fortunately, Mr. Paul has hard evidence to the contrary – evidence which is now in the hands of the Justice Department.
