We're Here To Stay! Campaign For Permanent Headquarters Launched
In less than nine years, Judicial Watch has grown to be a powerful force in the battle to combat government corruption. In recognition of the need for JW's work on a permanent basis, founder, Chairman and General Counsel, Larry Klayman, announced recently that a contingent agreement has been reached for his organization to purchase the building they currently occupy just a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
For more than a year, discussions with the seller and others have taken place to assure that JW would get the best deal possible. A letter of intent to buy the building was signed recently by Larry Klayman. "While it is an ideal location in many ways, and being able to stay in a place where we have made historic gains is great, our first priority was for this purchase to make financial sense," added Judicial Watch President, Tom Fitton. He added, "we are working hard to make a deal that all agree benefits Judicial Watch today and well into the future."
With more than 60,000 square feet of space, the permanent headquarters building allows for plenty of growth and more than adequate rental income to make mortgage payments. It also represents a much better investment than the stock market and government securities.
