MCI Spokesman Supports Terrorist Castro
JW Launches Boycott

While most of the world expresses outrage at the recent rash of jailings and executions by Fidel Castro, the Cuban dictator and master terrorist can still depend on stalwart support from Hollywood’s liberal elite. Just weeks after Castro murdered three men who tried to flee the Island, actor Danny Glover signed an anti-American document entitled, "To the Conscience of the World," which supports Castro and his regime and asks the United States to respect Cuba’s self-determination, a right that the people of Cuba do not have.

"Glover’s support of Castro is reprehensible and shows just how out of touch Hollywood’s liberal elite are with respect to reasonable, law-abiding Americans," said JW President Tom Fitton. "Judicial Watch is calling upon MCI to fire Glover immediately or face a boycott of its
products and services."

Facing an economic crisis that threatens Castro’s stranglehold on Cuban citizens, the Cuban dictator has recently relied more heavily on tactics of terror. In addition to the executions, more than 75 dissidents, most of them independent journalists, were jailed for speaking the truth about the horrors of Castro’s regime. Most of them are serving sentences in deplorable conditions that include dark, dirty cells infested with rats, no food and scarce water. And yet, the Hollywood Left¹s shameless support for Castro and his regime continues.
