Clinton Private Investigator Jailed Readers of the JW Verdict may remember the name Anthony Pellicano. Pellicano was the audio recording "expert" hired by Hillary Clinton to analyze taped conversations between then-President Clinton and Gennifer Flowers. Pellicano falsely claimed the tapes were "selectively edited" by Ms. Flowers - a claim publicly repeated by the Clinton smear machine as part of its campaign to discredit Ms. Flowers. Ultimately, of course, the recordings were found to be 100% authentic. According to the New York Daily News, Anthony Pellicano was recently convicted "for possessing illegal explosives" and is the subject of an ongoing federal wiretap investigation. Pellicano, who is known as the "investigator to the stars" was in the habit of illegally wiretapping his targets. Many in Hollywood, and in Washington, are concerned about what these tapes might reveal. Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton was recently interviewed on Court TV discussing Pellicano's connection to the Clintons.
