Illustrating that human smuggling rings are not limited to Border States, a Mexican man has been convicted for operating a prostitution ring—consisting of illegal immigrant girls—in an upscale south Florida county.
The lucrative business catered to local Hispanic farm and construction workers, many in the country illegally. The girls were smuggled in from Mexico with promises of a better life and, once in the U.S., were forced to pay off their smuggling debt as sex slaves in Palm Beach County.
Brothels were set up in adjacent south Florida cities—Fort Pierce, Okeechobee, Lake Worth and Boynton Beach, among them—and the prostitution ring netted up to $10,000 a day from its mostly Hispanic customers. Federal authorities first began investigating the operation more than a decade ago when two teenage Mexican girls escaped and alerted officials at the Mexican Consulate in South Miami.
A federal grand jury eventually indicted most members of the Mexican family that ran the operation but the ringleader (Juan Luis Cadena-Sosa) fled to his native Veracruz Mexico. He was recently extradited and faces 15 years in prison for federal civil rights violations and placing girls in a condition of involuntary servitude. Three other defendants in this case are still fugitives and believed to be evading U.S. justice in Mexico.
These kinds of smuggling operations are common in U.S. states located along the southern border but this case proves that the crisis is spreading throughout the country. Federal authorities routinely bust crime-infested immigrant stash houses in Arizona, Texas and California but rarely in other parts of the country.

Illegal Immigrant Stash House In Upscale Fla. County
the prostitution ring netted up to $10,000 a day a day that is a huge sum of money for a prostitution ring. How these people can sleep at nights knowing they ruined these girls lives is an example of how cold hearted and how the lust for money overides what is moral and right. At least Mexico did send one back.A while back a big prostitution ring was busted in Houston. I believe there are more places like this then what we currently know about. One thing I've notice when anyone has issues with the police going back in this case to Mexico seems to never be an issue. Thank you for this story..
Illegal Aliens living in suburban houses with other illegals
Here in Houston, Tx, there are plenty of illegal aliens living here. In my neighborhood a quiet suburban housing area located in Houston, now has an illegal alien family living two doors away.
They do not own the house, another Hispanic man and wife bought it but never moved in. Three months after purchasing the home, strange people moved in and they looked quite strange very Hispanic looking and always were looking over their shoulder. They immediately placed opaque tarps over all the windows so no one can see inside, these tarps stay on the windows at all times. The head male living there began looking for work around the neighborhood doing handy man types of work. He had a van but one day he left and we did not see the van nor him for about four months. When he returned he did not have the van.
After this he started to build a one room structure in the backyard complete with windows. I thought it strange it would have windows in it. Now there are three to four Hispanic males living there. They do some kind of work during the day but return to the house and go immediately to the backyard and the one room structure. They come out only at night as I have seen them when i walk my dogs around the neighborhood.
One day in January, 2008, two Hispanic males arrived in a white pickup truck with CA plates. I did not see too much of them as they tried to stay hidden. Finally after a week I drove by the house and the two males came out of the gate from a fence that surrounds the house and saw me looking at them. They both had their shirts off and I saw the tatoos on their upper arms, they were very elaborate looking. After they saw that I saw them they, with the truck, disappeared the next day and have not been back.
Now the male who lives in the house looks at me suspiciously when he is outside and I am outside. He has two children who were probably born in the USA and occasionally I will hear one of them crying and yelling as it sounds like one may be getting a few hits.
This whole situation is weird and unsettling. I basically do not know what to do except keep a close watch on the people there. I have called the FBI and ICE and it was the former who told me to call ICE and the local police. Well here in Houston the police could care less unless a crime has been committed. The ICE agent told me there was nothing they could do unless a crime was committed. So it continues with different Hispanic males showing up every few weeks and the head male of that house looks at me suspiciously and does not smile but glares.
No one else around me seems to mind or they do not wish to know who is there. I told my neighbor about them and he seemed interested as he did not know who lived there. I guess the fact that they are living in a two story suburban house and getting away with it, being here illegally, does bother me and keeps me on guard. After reading the reports of the crime that follows these kinds of people, one can never trust them nor get too friendly with them.
I hope nothing serious happens here.
