Documents Responsive To Judicial Watch’s FOIA Request Seeking Records of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Training Material Review

MAY 20, 2013

On March 8, 2012 Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the FBI in response to reports that the FBI met with “various Islamist and militant Arab groups” to remove “more than 1000 presentations and curricula on Islam from FBI offices around the country that was deemed ‘offensive.’” The FBI released two productions on January 15, 2013 and, after litigation, April 16, 2013 detailing instructions on slide removal and reasons for removing “offensive” slides. The documents can be viewed below. The request remains in litigation.
