JUDICIAL WATCH, INC., by counsel, respectfully requests an expedited hearing on the Motion by Judicial Watch, Inc. to Take Judicial Notice of Independent Experts’ Report and/or For Leave to Present Testimony.  As grounds therefor, Judicial Watch Inc. states the following:

1.            Judicial Watch, Inc. is filing herewith a Motion by Judicial Watch, Inc. to Take Judicial Notice of Independent Experts’ Report and/or For Leave to Present Testimony.

2.            Judicial Watch, Inc. understands that the Court will begin hearing evidence in this election context on Saturday, December 2, 2000, and intends to proceed with all deliberate speed.  Accordingly, in order to ensure that the opportunity to consider Judicial Watch, Inc.’s independent experts’ report and/or take the experts’ testimony is not lost, Judicial Watch, Inc. respectfully request an expedited hearing on its motion be scheduled. 


WHEREFORE, JUDICIAL WATCH, INC. respectfully requests that the Court set this matter for an expedited hearing to ensure that the opportunity to consider its independent experts’ report and/or take its independent experts’ testimony is not lost, as the report and testimony are relevant, probative, and in the public interest on the issues of whether and, if so ordered, how to conduct a recount.
