After carefully considering the FBI's action your appeal, affirming the FBI's action your request. The Freedom Information Act provides for disclosure many agency records. the same time, Congress included the FOIA nine exemptions from disclosure that provide protection for important interests such personal privacy, privileged communications, and certain law enforcement activities. The FBI properly withheld this information full because protected from disclosure under the FOIA pursuant U.S.C.  552(b)(7)(A). 
This provision concerns records information compiled for law enforcement purposes the release which could reasonably expected interfere with enforcement proceedings.
