Various investment accounts held Bear Steams were, during the calendar year 2008, transferred RBC's (Royal Bank Canada) Wealth Management facility Chicago. have deleted last year's reference Bear Steams and now list the assets solely under Royal Bank Canada (RBC). Accordingly, the individual investments are listed under the heading Bear Steams/RBC. The transition investments occurred over some weeks. These are non-discretionary accounts. previous years, the Union League Club was listed under "V. Gifts." Based upon further information, and upon the opinion the Committee Codes Conduct, the monthly fees paid judges are equal fees paid younger members, clergy and military. The fees exceed the overhead costs the club, and the privileges accorded are less than those accorded regular members. the opinion the Committee Codes Conduct, this fee classificiation does not constitute "gift" under the Ethics Government Act.
