DoD conducted more comprehensive search ensure the identification any and all responsive records. The attached records are the result that search. address your objection our previous determination that the majority the email from Admiral McRaven was not responsive your request, have processed the entirety each record. continue assert the validity the other redactions. Again, the recipients and senders most the emails have been withheld under FOIA Exemptions and pursuant U.S.C. 130(b), which allows for the withholding the names personnel overseas, sensitive, routinely deployable units. The redactions the CIA memo are proper under Exemption pursuant U.S.C. 3507. The other redactions within the responsive records were made pursuant FOIA Exemption withhold information the unauthorized disclosure which reasonably could expected cause serious damage the national security pursuant Executive Order 13526, Sections .2(a)(2) ("secret" classification level); .4(a) (military operations). These redactions either relate classification markings, the release which could reveal classified information, would reveal which component(s) USSOCOM participated the mission, which
remains classified fact.
