Positions 
Item No. Part-time Professor Law, University Notre Dame (joined faculty 1977; part-time since appointment Judiciary). faculty member, Judge Ripple entitled purchase tickets athletic events discount, receive twenty percent discount the University bookstore some items and ten percent discount others, and use other University facilities such the library and athletic facilities. also member the University Club and pays the dues required any member the faculty. The Law School provides Judge Ripple with Westlaw and Lexis services for his academic needs. 
Judge Ripple continues teach the present calendar year. 
Item No. Judge Ripple member the visiting committees the Divinity School the University Chicago and the School Law the University Chicago. Members the visiting committees simply give advice the administration and faculty the University. They have authority matters University governance. 
II. 
Agreement 
TIAA/CREF Pension Fund -Prior his appointment, Judge Ripple was full-time employee the University Notre Dame. Both and the University contributed his behalf this nation-wide pension fund for University teachers during those years (1977-1985). The fund administered board trustees. Although Judge Ripple now teaches part-time basis the University, neither nor the University contributes the fund part this arrangement. Part-time professor, University Notre Dame -With the approval the Chief Judge, Judge Ripple taught one course the Spring semester 2005 and 
one course the Fall semester. Details are set forth above Section VIII, Other Gifts 
Union League Club Chicago -The Club has extended signing privileges which permit Judge Ripple use the Club facilities the same cost charged 
members. This privilege accorded all Article III federal judges who sit Chicago. The Union League Club charges fee of$60.00 per month for use 
these privileges. Regular non-resident dues are $195.00 per quarter. 

The American Judicature Society gives all federal judges complimentary membership. Annual dues are $60.00. Judge Ripple receives their publication. 
The Federal Bar Association gives all federal judges honorary membership. There are dues for such members. Regular annual dues are $155.00 
Various bar associations and similar legal groups have extended honorary memberships Judge Ripple. did not use these memberships during the 
reporting period. Details are therefore omitted accordance with the instructions. 

West Publishing Company supplies Judge Ripple with sample set the Federal Reporter and miscellaneous legal material for use his chambers. The company makes these books available all federal judges. The estimated value $2,273.20. These materials are used for the performance official duties. 
Judge Ripple received sample text books from law school book publishers for the courses that teaches the University Notre Dame. These books were received under established programs through which publishers send such books all professors and asks the professors consider the books for publication. Judge Ripple received these books under the same conditions all other professors. Books were received from the following publishers.
