This responds your Freedom Information Act (FOIA) requests dated June and June 
23, 2011, and received this Office October 20, 2011, which you requested records 
communications between the Department and Project Vote, including communications with Estelle Rogers, Director Advocacy for Project Vote, and records pertaining grants submitted and awarded Project Vote, during the time frame January 2009 through June 23, 2011. This response made behalf the Offices the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and Associate Attorney General. 
Please advised that searches have been conducted the Offices the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and Associate Attorney General, well the electronic database the Departmental Executive Secretariat, which the official records repository for those Offices, and twenty-nine pages material have been located that are responsive your requests. have determined that twenty-seven pages are appropriate for release without excision and copies are enclosed. Also enclosed are two pages that are appropriate for release part with excisions made pursuant Exemption the FOIA, U.S.C.  552(b)(6), which pertains information the
