Re: Oil Budget Tool Update Complete Draft Final with Report

This open conference number that use nytime. spoke with Jane and she working some edits. your first question and I'll let Bill explain more eloquently than understa nding using the Oil Budget and that the lculations are based the high low flow rates and this where the percentages come from for what happened the oil. use the 4.9M figure, would mean that would have change the Oil Budget calculations. This might	that would want iscuss. right now, don't think those lcul.ations exist.

Why idn't just model the 4.9M figure since that's what we'll saying hen announce flow rate? Understand its +/- 10% but seems like that approach would make more sense but that's just me.

What worries about the budget that the remaining just left out there--earlier versions said that represented what breaking down naturally and washing shore. that's the case, need still say that, and not call remaining. Why the switch?

Also, thought were going calculate the natural breakdown. What the status that effort?

Heather-

Note below comes from our technical people:

Kris spoke with Mark make sure that got head straight these questions.

The short answer that used the bbl total flow from the seabed PLUS the error estimate 10%, giving total flow 5.4M bbls. this amount, 823,452 bbls were recovered the riser.insertion tube and the Top Hat systems. this
pretty close the 800,000 bbl number that Heather mentioned. course, this number independent flow rate since was measured directly.

UNFO RTUNATE while Mark and were talking noticed that, using these numbers, the Direct Recovery from Wellhead should 15%, not the 16% that the current version the document. So, all the rcentages the pie chart and the text the report should double checked using the analytical results from the Oil Budget Tool that were attached Mark's email this morning, pulling the numbers from the Higher Flow Estimate. Mark assured that Jennifer could this without any problem. So, we'd like ask that she ahead and that (Thanks, Jenn!) you have any questions, please call cell can double check the numbers.

Can you also confirm that this assumes the 4.9 million bpd stat and the BOOk barrels stat the assumptions? (Sorry bberry now. Will also check later)

Overall, the scientific teams estimate that approxi	4.9 million barrels oil have been released fromthe well. Not all this oil and gas flowed nto the ocean; containment activities conducted under U.S. direction captured approxi	800,000 barrrels oil prior the capping the well.
