U.S. Department Justice Community Relations Service: have discussed, CRB community response staff (Amy Carswell, Eddie Harris, Yvans Morisseau) are prepared meet with Sanford and Seminole county officials Friday, March discuss/present some models for responding community tensions related high profile incidents (including police involved incidents.) These models are Goodwill Ambassadors (crowd control); Community Briefings (inform and engage community members with responsible government leaders); Community forums (engage community members and local leaders for information sharing and strategy planning); and Community Relations Boards (creation and roles and responsibilities permanent council that intervenes prevent and reduce intergroup tensions and conflict). Our discussions/presentations may modified the needs you all identify and the time that the officials have available. order for CRB staff participate (and for MiamiDade county expend funds for this purpose), require request for assistance from you, other CRS official authorized official from the City Sanford and/or Seminole county. Please advise asap. Thank you. 
This participation may coordinated with MiamiDade CRB and County Commission staffs approved travel Sanford for demonstrations/gatherings related the Trayvon Martin case March 31. 2012.
