At least the mistress thing is out in the open with Villaraigosa, in contrast with the former mayor of San Antonio, Henry Cisneros, who lied about payments to his mistress, filed incorrect tax returns, and was found guilty of criminal offenses, and had to leave his cabinet post in the Clinton administration, but received a Clinton pardon--only to join the board of Country Wide, the mortgage lender now in melt-down. Villaraigosa obviously has committed far more serious offenses to which you alude (sedition?), but has not, nor is likely, to pay any penalty for any of them. This is the kind of nefarious and corrupt character that particularly appeals to the Clintons, the kind they use to do their dirty work and then take the rap when the proverbial fecal material hits the fan.
