Be realistic...they will NEVER deport all illegal immigrants there are million of people crossing the border illegally everyday and while they are deporting...say a couple hundered today..another thousand are coming in! so cut the crap sayin "deport them" cuz it just wont happen
Just had a discussion about this with a good friend. I personally am opposed to all of this. I live in Michigan and by law we are obligated to grant illegal immigrants driver's licenses and I feel as though America are giving these people more incentive to come here. However, my friend believes that if they are considering to come here, it is because the situation that they live in is so bad that coming to America would be worth all of the risk. She also believes that legal process is too time consuming and costs them money that they do not have. I would like to see where Americans (and even illegal immigrants)stand on this issue. Please comment.
Think about this: I-864 was passed into law to protect "deadbeat" men from marrying and bringing foreign women into the USA and winding up on the public dole. But how much did it cost to set up this bureaucratic enforcement vs. the actual savings to taxpayers?
I'll bet there are more illegals streaming across the border every day who wind up costing taxpayers more every day than all of the immigrant brides do in 5 years. But, hey! They care greatly to save taxpayers from those immigrant brides, but millions of illegals pouring across the border is just no big deal.

The ILLEGALS in the Texas School System are so illiterate that “our” schools have to spend time and resources to teach the ILLEGALS "proper" Spanish before they can even consider teaching them English! The ILLEGALS have their own program starting in pre-kindergarten through the 5th grade, seven years, and most do not learn English. But the Feds and State of Texas continue to flood the school system with "our" money.
"Teachers" in the Texas ILLEGALS pre-kindergarten - 5th grade program receive a higher salary per year more than the real TEACHERS who work with the "NON-ILLEGALS"!!!!
"pay bilingual teachers extra because they are hard to find and have additional credentials" - Most have less educational "credentials" than real teachers, most do not have educational degrees or for that fact most do not have advanced degrees that are required for real teachers. The only "additional credentials" is the ability to converse in spanish. United States elementary students should not be required to learn in spanish, the reason for the "bilingual program(ILLEGAL program)" is that we are forced to "educate" the ILLEGALS!
FYI - I am not sure what state you are speaking for but where I am I will tell you that about 60% of students in the Bilingual Programs are Natural Born Citizens.We have bilingual students from Africa, China, Vietnam, Mexico, Nicaragua and PeruThey are first generation Americans. In addition, the bilingual teachers are state certified or working on their certification. Those that are not certified do have a bachelors degree. They can be employed through a school district for a total of three years pending certification. If that person does not pass become certified in three years then they are non-rehireable. After passing their Excet exam they take additional exams for endorsements such as Bilingual / ESL.
i see that everyone is saying to deport mexicans, but why are you just looking at the bad stuff??? i mean if you think about it it these "illegals" as some call them which is WRONG are the reason that some people even have money! all they want is a better life...mexico is corrupt and you are acting as if they are parasites, and mutans when they are just people of a different race with a different language, how do you think they would feel if it was turned the otrher way...mexicans work for a living no matter how small the job, they dont just sit at a corner with a "im a veteran" sign and ask for cash so they can blow it on booze. so before you go making assumptions and being stupid, think about who you are takling about. not to mention that there are more mexicans in american school graduating than american students, so stop complaining about the whole they are taking our jobs, they are only taking them because more of them have higher educations than americans.
