The second largest source of revenue for Mexico is illegals in the US sending money home. That would make a big difference for the US economy and the poor in the US.
I believe the poor in Mexico need help, but not by selling the poor of the US down the river. This is where Democrats let down the poor is selling them out to illegals. Republicans promote illegals to promote cheep labor for businesses. We need to clean up the corruption on both sides and kick their butts.

May Day Marches
I wish the Mexicans would organize a march every month. I wish they would burn hundreds of American flags while waving Mexican flags and singing the Mexican National Anthem. They should also call us lots of nasty names and tell us that we can't survive without them and also how they plan to take back the Southwest for Mexico. If we could only persuade them to do this, Americans would probably kick them out of OUR country within a year and build that double fence along the entire border. As it is, it will still make us angry. Each march makes us a little more angrier and sooner or later we will send them all home. That day can't come soon enough. I would just ask all these march organizers to make this a really BIG demonstration. Call out all the illegals. Americans really like to see how many illegal invaders are in OUR country.

The apathy of most Americans is astounding. Some of those supporting the action in Iraq, have nothing whatever to say about the actions of a foreign government, Mexico, meddling in the politics of this nation. Talk about screwed up priorities. We have no leaders.

Let them come, let The American citizens see them make demands on our soil, and watch how it turns out. This is not a third world country like Mexico. This country honors it "citizens" and the people who worked hard to become Citizens. We don't like line crashers at the movies and we don't like fence jumpers for citizens. Illegal aliens in our faces only gets our gander up. And also wakes up most of Americans to Mexico's illegal behavior and promotion of their citizen's land grab actions.
So please do, Do march, carry Mexican flags, Yell Si Se Puedi as loud as you can, demand rights that are for citizens only, and don't forget to tell Americans that this land was your land first and that we should go back to Europe! Say it loud and say it proud.
Make sure the United States Media hears you loud and clear. Make sure CNN and NBC and CBS and ABC get lots of film coverage of your demands. And make sure you demand everything in Spanish.
See, we really like people coming into our country and not wanting to be apart of us. Not wanting to obey our laws, not wanting to learn our history, not wanting to speak our language. WE really like people coming from a culture that doesn't work and demanding your culture should replace a culture that is one of the world's best culture. Yes, that makes a lot of sense to us.
So, please, PLEASE...March and make your demands.

Any scheme to give legal status or amnesty to 15-30 million illegal aliens would pour gasoline on a blazing fire and destroy this nation. American citizens are not going to watch their citizenship, sovereignty, and rule of law go down the drain because of the efforts of crazed anti-American, pro-illegal aliens, pro-Reconquista organizations "La Raza","LULAC","MALDEF","MECha" and "cheap labor" fanatics.
Our Constitution starts out with, 'We The People.' It does not say, 'we the politicians' or 'we the special interests' or 'we the illegal aliens.' … That means that this country belongs to us and nobody else. Illegal Mexican Immigrants SHOULD NEVER Have Any Political Input
For decades immigrants from other countries have come to the U.S. and did it the right way. They worked hard and became American citizens. It is an outrage that illegal Latinos think they have any rights to make any demands of the U.S. They certainly do not have any rights in their own country. In fact the "Mexican System" cannot control the lack of safety, security, corruption and the significant increases of crimes. Why don't they make demands of their own country instead of coming to America in an attempt to muscle us?
If they want to continue these marches and continue to demand that Congress legalize them then all U.S. citizens should protest in a non-confrontational manner. This can be accomplished by boycotting travel to Mexico. The U.S. Government has a travel alert posted for Mexico, but few Americans know this fact. The deaths of U.S. citizens from non-natural causes are escalating at alarming rates. There are hundreds of Americans who are killed while vacationing in Mexico. Deaths which are senseless and inexcusable. Please Google Brent Midlock and travel.state.gov -- It would be much more beneficial for the Mexicans to go back and organize groups to make Mexico a better place.

Plan Mexico was hatched by Presidents
Bush and Calderon without any consultation from the US or Mexican
congresses.
Officially known as the Merida Initiative, Plan Mexico,is immediately
likened to the failures and violence of Plan Colombia that has led to an
increase in human rights violations and cocaine production.
Stopping Plan Mexico has been named by the Center for International
Policy as one of the top three challenges to protect attempts to build more
just and peaceful societies in Latin America.
The United Steelworkers came out against it in November and issued a
statement demanding public hearings about it after
the police crackdowns on miners in Mexico last week.
Plan Mexico would provide $1.5 billion in US Taxpayer monies and equipment
to the Mexican military, police, and intelligence services.
None of the aid contemplated in this first package of a proposed 3 year
deal goes where it's most needed: addiction
prevention and rehabilitation in America, and local development financing in
mMxico.
Sending equipment to the Mexican police and military in the context
of unprosecuted human rights violations encourages impunity.
Is this what Americans want our government to do with our tax money?
Increased surveillance, secret police and paramilitary activities endangers the civil liberties of the general population at
risk, especially activists, union leaders, indigenous peoples.
The invasion by U.S. military companies such as Blackwater, and direct U.S.
involvement in Mexican military would lead to a client state relationship
that compromises Mexican national sovereignty and would lead to increased U.S.
interventionist and even imperial foreign policy.
This "security" initiative is proposed in the context of opening up the Mexican economy to further
privatization and exploitation by multinational corporations.
Plan Mexico, emphasizes interdiction and as such expands the failed drug war in Colombia. Yet, a study conducted by the conservative RAND Drug Policy Research Center
for the U.S. Army ... found that treatment is 10 times more cost effective
than interdiction...".
Plan Mexico imagines anti-terrorist measures to confront an international
threat that does not exist in Mexico, and would reinterpret
migration as organized crime.
Mexico needs and deserves U.S. support, in the form of fair trade agreements which prioritize labor, indigenous and other human rights & environmental protections; Instead our government sends jobs oversees where Mexican workers and farmers rights are abused under rapacious free trade that
reduces wages and decimates the environment. The proposal to expand militarization of Mexican society is a step in the wrong direction.
Plan Mexico is a dangerous ploy by the Bush administration to intervene in
the affairs of Mexico for decades to come, while ignoring the need to create good paying jobs at home.

Amazing, only in America can a foreign government do this. Can you just imagine Americans pulling this stunt in that wonderful democratic country of Mexico? This is really a new twist on the definition of rights, but who's rights, the rights of America to be a sovereign nation and defend it's laws, or the rights of Mexico to do whatever they want in this country. I think they are pushing the envelope just a little to far.

I am an AMERICAN of Mexican descent. I consider myself an American because of my Nationality, not my Ethnic background. I have served my country in the U.S. Military for over 30 years. I am sick and tired of the way most of the politicians from both parties have adressed this issue. If it was up to me and I was a Mayor or Governer of a city or state where these demonstrations and rallies were taking place, I would use any existing law and take advantage of the fact that they are all in one place and round them all up and send them back to whatever country they came from. Ask the government of Mexico why they don't grant the immigrants from Guatemala, Honduras and other Latin Amercan countries the "rights" they are asking the United States to grant to their ILLEGAL immigrants.

The laws of the USA need to be abided by & respected by any immigrant desiring to come to our country. Nothing personal, but the American people feel like we are perfectly within our rights, as Americans & as a people, to decide how our country accomodates other people wanting to live here.
It would be much more productive to offer aide to Mexicans who want to come here, in a specific place with a specifc set of rules & processing.Since it appears that the Mexican government is going to continue to let their citizens starve, there's no doubt that mexicans will want to come here.
In order to accomodate the people in Mexico wanting to come here, we need a current day Ellis island facilities set up along the borders between USA & Mexico. People can register, go through a process/ education/identification etc to EARN the right to come here.And so that families don't starve, provide food for those people who register to come here.The distribution of food will be for a set period of time until the immigration process can be completed.
Employ potential immigrants to build the facilities.They can learn a skill, take English classes, get ready to be productive citizens. IT WILL BE CHEAPER & MORE AFFECTIVE THAN CHASING ILLEGALS.Employ potential immigrants to serve as border patrol & make their approval to come here based on their performance.
Create a tent city w/facilities to hold those who will agree to go through the proper channels. I think that the Mexican citizens who want to come here would much prefer to be able to hold their heads high, be proud, and be accepted into society by complying with our laws.
Also, the USA needs to have control over our borders & I think this would greatly help to do this.

2. All ballots will be in this nation’s language.
3. All government business will be conducted in our language.

6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs. Any burden will be deported.
7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
8. If foreigners come here and buy land… options will be restricted. Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
9. Foreigners may have no protests, no demonstrations, no waving of a foreign flag, no political organizing, no badmouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to deportation.
10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be actively hunted and when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you.

I am a Cree, and a legal immigrant (Canada). I am appalled that the Government of Mexico forces me, a legal immigrant, to be discriminated against for being a legal immigrant. Residents/workers who have elcipsed the immigrant application process and failed to pay the thousands of dollars in fees which are required as part of the application process are illegal border invaders. The Annenberg School of Journalism on the campus of the University of Southern Californa is one of the biggest pro-latio spinmeisters.Please contact your local newspaper, television, and radio media to complain that Mexico and the other latino illegals are causing legal immigrants from other countries to be discriminated against.

My husband is a legal immigrant from Latin America. He told me in a local Mexican news paper they were complaining during the last election because the ballots weren't also displayed in Spanish. They said that made it hard for them to vote.

Most days anymore I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone instead of the United States. How did such an incredible country like ours become what it is today? Every day we contend with groups that give everything away to those that don't deserve anything and then we don't take care of our own. We allow millions of people to enter our country illegally and then reward them by paying for their education, food, healthcare, place to live, etc. And they pay us back by spitting in our faces and making one demand after another...........and we give them their demands. Then we have those that are U.S. citizens living below poverty levels and we do nothing for them. Or those that have fought to protect my freedoms and we reward them by spitting in their faces and either throwing them into a home where they can be forgotten and ill-cared for or we don't give them the psychological, emotional & physical care they need to re-enter society as whole human beings. What the (bleep) is wrong with this country? Don't people get it? How did it get so out of control? I, for one, am trying to find grass roots organizations to join to take back our country, even if it's only a little by little. Any change is better than doing nothing. I think that's how it got so out of hand in the first place. No one, except the whiners, we're making demands of our government. They did that for so long that unless you're one of the whiners, you are considered a bigot, a racist or don't know what you're talking about.
