IF gangbangers were in jail, whether they were illegal immigrants or citizens, all of our criminal street gang violence would be at an end. And that's exactly where they belong. Sheriff Joe of Maricopa County, AZ, has the right idea: HE unequivocally states that he has room for unlimited numbers of criminals - out in the desert, in tents.

Gangs have no business on the streets of this country, period. Jailing them all would be the only way to eliminate retaliation against witnesses, as well as common street crimes relating to guns, drugs, arson, intimidation, carjacking, gang turf wars, random killings, and so on.

And don't tell me this is 'prejudice' or 'discrimination'. All criminals belong in jail, regardless of ethnicity, color, or immigration status.

you gotta think about this first, because if the special order 40 was taken away, LA would become another city full of racial and discrimiatory riots.. I'm not saying Special Order 40 is good, I'm saying that people should think about the consequenses before making decisions. What we really need is a system that either let immigrants into US quicker instead of having them cross the border illegally, or have a system of letting the I.I.'s get jobs other than having to resort to being gang members to earn money..

Now I am a Hispanic male who was born in LA, Cali. What I hate to see is how Hispanics think they are being discriminated against because they are illegal. My honest opinion is that instead of coming to a country that isn't yours and destroying it, take care of it. Don't go out to gang bang. Make the race look better then bringing it down. On the other hand, how many of you citizens actually push for your kid to go out and pick tomatoes and do other jobs that require intense physical labor for dirt cheap? And all of you would answer in the same way, no we don't want our kids doing that. But at the same time, illegals are stealing jobs, so we think. No they are doing the jobs that other people don't want and doing it for cheap as shit. I do agree with locking up all gang bangers. Whether your legal or illegal, if you commit a crime, you serve the time.
I also see that we have many problems such as having people milk the system and things of that nature but in reality, we need illegals, and everyone knows it.
