Why is this country giving
Why is this country giving money to this group in order for it to be used against this country.
National Council of La Raza
It's certainly not the people of this country who are deciding to give this money to this group.
Our establishment in general is 100 percent behind the agenda to transform the United States and Western Scociety into something international and multi-ethnic. The people who control our money, our media and who run our corporations. Yes our wonderful president that we have now as well as his father are entirely supportive of this as well. They seem to be strongly allied with all the ethnic race based organizations, National council of la raza, Anti defamation league of bnai brith, etc... Our own government uses our tax dollars to fund the agendas of various race based organizations. The national council of la raza is of course the organization that advocates the hispanic takeover of the American Southwest. Actually a number of hispanic organizations all of which recieve US taxpayer dollars do. They get more federal tax money than this 35 million as well. Barney Frank knows fully well what he is doing and there are many others involved.
Frank on air promised to withdraw sponsor name to bill
On my show which is heard in Greater New Bedford, MA right in Congressman Frank's district, we called him and he interviewed with me on-air. He proimised to remove himself from the bill, once i demonstrated that it was a bill which provided for one ethnic group and discriminated over all others.

What I find truly
What I find truly objectionable about this earmarking is not so much that it favors one ethnicity over another, but that it favors a particular activist group, La Raza, that is known for treating "assimilation of minority immigrants" as an obscene phrase rather than a desirable policy goal.
Currently, unassimilated Hispanics are a bigger economic problem for the U.S. than, say, unassimilated Southeast Asians; therefore, if the context were "how much federal money should we spend subsidizing ESL programs for immigrants," it might make logical sense to direct a disproportionately large chunk of the pie towards Spanish speakers. This might be a wise policy on pragmatic grounds even if it meant that immigrants from Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam were getting shortchanged a bit.
In short, I'd happily support spending more on Hispanic immigrants if it were expressly for the purpose of encouraging them to Anglo-Americanize better and faster. But that's not what La Raza stands for.
(And yes, I am aware that there is significant variation in the quality of ESL programs, and that some "ESL advocates" are actually in bed with the anti-assimilationists.)
"He promised to remove
"He promised to remove himself from the bill,...."
And you believed him? What a fool you are. No wonder we are loosing this country.
Treason
ANY and ALL of our elected officials who allow this ILLEGAL INVASION should be tried for TREASON!!!
False accusations against the NCLR
It seems that people commonly give information that is not accurate in order to demonize minority groups. If you log into the NCLR website they have posted this to correct their critics on their view of being seperatist:
Another misconception about NCLR is that we support a “Reconquista,” or the right of Mexico to reclaim land in the southwestern United States. NCLR has not made and does not make any such claim; indeed, such a claim is so far outside of the mainstream of the Latino community that we find it incredible that our critics raise it as an issue. NCLR has never supported and does not endorse the notion of a “Reconquista” or “Aztlán.” Similarly, NCLR’s critics falsely claim that the statement “Por La Raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada,” [“For the community everything, outside the community nothing”] is NCLR’s motto. NCLR unequivocally rejects this statement, which is not and has never been the motto of any Latino organization.
NCLR’s work as a civil rights institution is about inclusion and participation in the American Dream, including extensive efforts to assist new immigrants in the process of fully integrating into American life. In fact, NCLR and its Affiliates work every day to provide English classes, support naturalization efforts, and provide other services that help integrate immigrants fully into American society.
People need to get their facts straight. We need to stop being afraid of each others difference & work together to make this country the ideal country for every body reguardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, & ethnicity.
NCLR does not support a seperatist movement
People need to check their facts & stop trying to scare people into beleiving that minority groups are trying to destroy america. We should all work together & make conditions in America ideal for everybody. This a a quote directly from NCLR website

NCLR
Why do they need more "help" than any other ethnic group? Hispanics have had FAR MORE assistance than any other immigrant group in history. I went through high school with the "boat people", Vietnamese who came here in the late 70s. They helped themselves! They learned OUR language instead of demanding we learn theirs. If the hispanics are here legally, they will be afforded THE SAME ASSISTANCE AS ANY OTHER IMMIGRANT GROUP, no more, no less. If they are NOT here legally...back they go. That's it!! And that goes for ANY immigrant group! Enough illegal entitlements already. Any politician who supports illegal aliens needs to be called out and tried in the court of public opinion and rightly convicted of treason.

sounds like you're doing a horrible job, if that really is your "mission".
the only "assistance" I see the illegals getting is from the taxpayers, against their will, not you.
