Corrupt BP agents

The U.S. Border Patrol back in the 50s was a mostly white American force with few corrupt (unvetted) agents. Now, almost all agents are Latino or Mexican and corruption is rampant.

Has DHS considered going back to an all white force? It certainly is an idea.

At the present time, the Border Patrol is made up of 67% spanish surnamed agents. These are mostly naturalized Americans or Americans of Mexican decent. Many have the belief that they are uncomfortable arresting La Raza which is manifested in record corruption convictions, the highest by far of any Federal agency. This is akin to having the foxes guarding the hen house. Lie detector tests should be manditory and regular to help weed out the corrupt agents as many can enter the force with conviction only to change beliefs when their friends or family are involved. One does wonder if they would arrest their relatives or not, this should be discussed and addressed as this corruption is growing. I believe that Mexican American agents are best placed at the ports or on the Canadian border to remove temptation.

A good percentage of the drugs that come across the Texas/Mexico border end up being ran thru the county in which i live. the feds have been conducting a 10 year long investigation that has done nothing but to continue to facilitate the ongoing drug cartel that operates here and in Texas. Ronald J. Herrmann owner of Columbia 300 Industries is the head of this drug smuggling operation. The Government has known this since the 1970's and they do nothing to stop it.

Border Patrol

Are their no honset people in this country? We have the best country in the world and people keep messing up their lives over money ,drug, etc. Get rid of the renegade agents and honor the good agents. Secure our borders, these people are a drain the American society and they need to be stopped. If you want to be a US citizen then go thru the proper channels, then we will welcome you. Other wise stay in your own country and make the best of it and quit wineing. We love the US and want our border closed. Thank You

Corruption

Anyone is capable of being corrupted it does not matter what race you are and if we think that having one race control everything then that will send us back to a time when racism was accepted. Polygraph tests are not as accurate as people think they are they do not hold up in court and would be a waste of time if we can't even make use of them when they are being thrown out of court. It is foolish to beleive that where you place someone is going to change the person's character to commit a crime. I don't beleive that you guys know that there are Mexican's tht come through the Canadian border as well because they beleive it is easier to get in then it is down in the Southern border. People make mistakes and no matter where you place them they will continue to do the stupid things that they do but to make a racist remark about having an all white agency or to blame one race for everything that is going wrong is just ignorant. If you look on the CBP website you will see that it is all races committing these stupid acts and as an agent I find this to be offensive to all of us that arefinding these cartels and catching these illegal immigrants. Get some more facts and understand what is being said be fore it is said.
