John McCain is wrong in granting amnesty to illegal immigrants. They have broken the law and have disrupted the US economy. Add to this the current economic crisis in the mortgage industry brought about by home loans to low-income families, namely illegal immigrant families, have contributed to the current state of affairs we find ourselves.
This great nation attracts people from all over the world. We cannot and should not accommodate them all. By allowing illegal and often times criminals to enter the country we are turing our back on those who are waiting to enter the country legally and encourging those wanting to enter the country to do so illegally.
McCain's postion on immigration will not change my vote for him but I will fight hard to ensure his amnesty program is not approved.

Unfortunately, the current government would squash any attempt to actually follow that bit of the constitution. Just like they did in the Civil War, only this situation deserves the right to dissolve the current government and begin anew even more.
Better still, why have any immigrants at all? They come in here with minority status and get all sorts of affirmative action, which is entirely responsible for the current banking collapse BTW, and government welfare, such as free emergency room care which is the reason that health care costs are going through the roof.
Most of them are unskilled workers, which decreases demand for our own unskilled labor, driving down their wages, while increasing the cost of living on the middle class. The only people who benefit from all of this immigration is the fat cats, normal natives are only become worse off as a result of this massive influx.
Worse still, they are displacing the majority population and altering our national identy through this multiculturalism garbage, and if history has taught us anything about multiculturalism is that it always destroys nations. Besides, who ever asked White Americans if they wanted to be displaced as an ethnic majority into an ethnic minority? When was the debate on this issue? Why are we not having a debate not? Has anyone invested in thought into why this is a terrible idea? Or how this will permanently kill they Republican Party forever?
Simply enough, there is no upside to immigration, none. I say kick them all out! Kick out every non-white immigrant, we don't want them importing the 3rd world into our country. Hell, at least give us a vote on whether we want to commit cultural suicide or not.

First and formost for people saying that illegal immigrants are no good look around at all of the things you take for granted. When you go to a clean bathroom who do you think cleans it definetly not the normal american citizen. If you all look at each other America is a melting pot. Where do you think your grandparents came from not america people unless your native american. I have not gone to a McDonalds or a moving company where there is an american working. I have friends from Romania that come here on work visas to work in moving and they do a good job these companies try to hire americans but they leave the client site after 3 hrs cause the job is too labor intensive.
Did anyone from the states actually go anywhere other than the tourist areas of France Italy and go to East europe or outsice of Cancun to see how people live i dont think you could survive there. What would you do if you had a family and kids making 200 a month in those countries??? Everyone likes to talk about america this and america that but wake up and stop taking it for granted go to these places and put yourselves in those peoples shoes they dont come here asking for help they work like dogs and mind to them selves. The people that come here asking for help and that take advantage of the system should go home but not all do so you can not generalise.
