Obama's law firm successfully sued banks for so-called REDLINING which forced the rest to follow the ridiculous lending practices enforced by the Dhimmicrats. The leaders of the Dhimmicrats also blocked at least 4 different attempts to reign in Freddie and Fannie since 2003.

One of the earmarks was $590,000 for a park in Chicago. Clink on the link below "View Larger Map" and zoom in to take a look at the Google image of the half-a million dollar park. Zoom in and take in the street view. Looks like some fencing, sidewalks and landscaping to me. I'd love to see the Chicago Park Department's actual paperwork on this one.

It's funny how this site focuses on the left wing. While doing a search on George Bush and others on the right, all the responses are coming up with Hillary and Obama.
I think this earmark money idea is not attuned with the growing economic crisis. High income tax is a great burden to the people. The government must find ways to solve these financial downturns. The earmark money project is a drop in the federal budget. In these times of economic meltdowns, using governing funds and pegging them for a specific cause is not a good idea. Sarah Palin may have a good intention on these but thinking about the practicality of doing it, it's a big NO NO. The real problem here is that Palin asked for $140 million to be set aside for her state, which makes Alaska one of the biggest users of earmarks in the U.S. This is after she gave a large cash advance building an oil pipeline. And she's also having her daughters' contentious break up to deal with. Rumors are still going around about her running in 2012, but if she fails to live up to campaign promises it won't be an easy sell for Sarah Palin for President.
