Thank you for pursuing this matter, JW. It is very concerning to me, that something as subtle as a cell phone, which nearly everyone carries, might be cleverly exploited by a campaign inside the voting areas on election day.
Having this information, what will done to ensure this does not take place and if it does how can we be sure the proper action will be taken against it? Please follow up with this.
I just came from my Polling Place, where there were scores of men standing around the driveway stopping each car as they entered the parking lot. They were passing out half-sheets of paper which listed every Democratic cadidate in the area. The top said in bold caps... VOTE DEMOCRATIC!
Personally, I did my homework, and knew who I was voting for. But, I wonder how many people were influenced by this tactic? This is a very Democratic ward... so much so that people are litterally afraid to voice support for any Republican... ever. To me, this seemed like just another strong-arm tactic, which I thought was illegal. I called the local election office and was told that as long as they were at least 100 feet from the door to the Polling Place, anyone can say or do anything they want!
Just for the record, I do not follow party lines EVER, but if I hadn't already known who I was voting for, I probably would have voted Republican.
Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
God will appreciate it.

I believe the same holds
I believe the same holds true for Ohio
No campaign should get away with it
