Regardless of how you feel about immigration issues, it's pretty obvious that Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice McGregor is about as big a quack as they come.

Aren't the terms she's just "banned" found in numerous state and national documents, as well as academic literature on the subject? How is a judge or more to the point a lawyer supposed to operate under such draconian rules of judicial behavior?

Orwellian is the most obvious description of McGregor's embarrassingly dumb ruling. Someone should play the line from Plan 9 from Outer Space to the justice until she gets the message ("Stupid, stupid, stupid!")

I have to ask whether 1984 is required reading in school. Honestly I don't recall if I had read it in 4th grade Lit or my Father bought me a copy. Regardless, it is obviously time for a re-reading.

You see, in Orwell's England, there was a Department of Truth whose business was telling lies. Among other things, its responsibility was to adjust historical records to reflect the current PC "truth" and to control and limit the range of thought available to the population by controlling - and limiting - the number of words and types of expressions available.

Limiting the language is the tool used to limit thought as it became more and more difficult to convey an idea if the words no longer existed.

It won't be long until we are bound to state only that "external pre-citizens" are "double-plus un-good".

Let's just call them lawbreaking invaders. Simple and to the point. How about criminal unwanted non-citizens. Or, border breakers. Undocumented criminal non-citizens?

Too darn bad if they don't like what we call these criminal invaders. We have the right to defend our borders against those who would come here and take from our citizens, commit crimes over and above mere invasion (drunk driving, manslaughter, murder, drug running, etc.), drop their spawn in hopes of riding on the coat tails of a "legal" citizen to gain monetary and other benefits... Oh, don't get me started.

Ok.. I can agree on not using "illegal alien"... but from now on whenever a defendant appears in court it should be noted that "Mr. xxxx, crossed the border without proper documentation and in total defiance of all immigration laws to come to the US to work, which is also against state and federal laws. As such he is usually paid in cash, and therefore does not have FICA and other taxes withheld, which is also against federal laws, and if he does provide a SSN so that withholding can be taken out, it is usually a fake or stolen number, also against federal law".

I have no problem with this ruling. We should all heretofore refer to "illegals" as this person of foreign citizenship who entered and remains and remains in The U.S. unlawfully. Takes more words, but I like it. Then, when the trial and sentence are complete, throw the illegal alien bums out of MY country!

Perhaps that stupid Ruth Mc Gregaor, has no idea what the LAW is. Where on earth did she get her Law degree? Or perhaps that does not matter today. Perhaps it was a school for the mentally challenged? (But again I do not want to disrespect the mentally challenged, as I'm sure they could not be so STUPID.)
The saying once was, "That the crazies have been let out of the sanitariums" and are running the show" This statement was once said in jest. However, the sad fact is, it is no longer a JOKE. The insane are in charge. At every level of Govt. I think it's time for the people of Arizon to impeach, impeach, impeach. If they can do so under their constitution.

What ever it takes must be done, she must be made an example. And then we can go to work on the rest of the Treasonist dogs (Judges) who defy the Constitution.
Thank God these are not life time positions in most states.
We must begin to take back our country.

My taxes pay for the court system. My taxes pay for the benefits received by illegal residents of this country.

I expect the court system to protect my hard earned dollars from swindlers who sneak into the US to rape our welfare system. Housing, education, police and fire protection, transportation, health services, and parks and recreation areas are provided by the tax payers of our country. They are not to be enjoyed by those who do not have a right to them.

Illegals should be sent home in every instance, babies or not. There is a legal way to enter this country that has been honored for many generations. No one is too good to follow the rules. Get over your greed. Go back to your homeland and do honest work there. We don't need freeloaders here. And we certainly don't need law breaking freeloaders ruining our economy. It's all we can do to take care of our own population. Go back home.

You people need to read more carefully. Chief Justice MacGregor wrote, "I have taken several steps to notify our judges of your concerns." That's not highly committal. I didn't see the words "enforce" or "ban." Perhaps if a bone fide immigration reform group were to write a letter to her of a contrary opinion, say, that the use of "illegal immigrant" is wonderfully descriptive and appropriate, it might get a similar, non-committal reply.

Who the hell put you on the court. You are violating citizens right of free speech and you need to pay for that travesty. If someone is in this country and without documents they are illegal, by vitue of the fact that they violated the law.
