Bravo to Judicial Watch for the FOIA acquisition of the documents that purport to "authorize" the creation of Change.gov and the so-called "Office of the President Elect".

I read the documents, and something didn't seem right. So, I looked up the statute that the GSA officials cited in their so-called "justification". The law does not say anything remotely close to what they claim.

Therefore, both the transition Web site (on the ".gov" domain) and the so-called "office" are patently illegal. Of course, what else would one expect from a "president" that is an illegal alien?

It would only take one US Representative and one US Senator to get together and create a joint congressional committee to investigate Obama, and to block his upcoming takeover of the White House until the investigation is complete. Apparently, out of 535 potential saviors of the republic, not one has the fortitude to pick up the gauntlet that Obama has thrown down before the citizens.

The system is broken. Part of the reason is that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, at their highest levels, are colluding to create a system that only benefits the politically "connected". At this point, the job of good citizens is to "disconnect" those political leeches from their source of income and power.

Again, bravo to Judicial Watch for being a true watchdog against illegal, unconstitutional "government".

Crafting political strategies for success includes saying the opposite of what is done. The word TRANSPARENCY has a new meaning when Obama SEALS his Birth Records, his school records, and his legal records. Eric Holder, Obama’s chosen AG was Gov. Blagajevich’s chosen Special Investigator for the gaming board (gambling) in Illinois but he forgot to put that fact in his report to the Senate Judiciary Report. Holder forgot his $300,000 recent job. The Hill is taken by Chicago thugs. If they did not have anything to hide and if Obama really wants to have TRANSPARENCY, let us look at what he is hiding. Expect deceit and corruption to be exposed as Chicago style politics and gangsters escalate the killings. More murders are already taking place in Chicago than in Iraq. Real TRANSPARENCY is TRUTH!

It's more like no one has the fortitude or "brass ones" to actually take a stand for what is right with regard to investigating & holding the Obama's Transparancy accountable. Rather than posting all these comments here maybe all of us should be sending emails, faxes, letters, etc. to the 535 elected officials representing "our" interests. We can blog & we can complain but we are still "THE PEOPLE" and we can still make our voices heard in a manner that will make these ELECTED representatives take notice....

Is this the best you people can come up with? An illegal website? Forget about wreaking our economy and leaving us involved with two wars. Spying on US citizens and quietly taking away our rights.

I am backing President Obama but do not necessarily agree with everything he proposes especially the closing of GITMO. My grandson was in Iraq and I am glad he has returned safely. I do believe and it is my belief that if we let these terrorists go to there own country we are in for a huge problem. Other than that it's a tough go because of the economy and both Democrats and Republicans need to work together. Thanks

You should thank god you have someone so capable. In my opinion the Repulicans are a bunch of gangsters and have had a strangle hold on the US that has held back the country. What they did to Clinton over private matters was beyond beleif but it point clearly to the the power the repulicans used to have.

The Bush admistrations corruption and missmagement and incompetence is beyond beleif. The Republicans ultra-right wing view of the world has resulted in a himiliating war as well as distroyed the world economy. Yet I keep hearing the republican propaganda on their TV stations, trying to brainwash the masses, thinking the same tricks will work twice. Frankly they should shut the fuck up because their message is tired and hollow and unworkable and the people are now awake and seeing much more clearly. These greedy people can't even step up to pay their taxes.

The real reason is human nature. For some reason Americans appear to have no problem stepping on the necks of their fellow man to get ahead. They certainly have no problem doing that to the rest of the world on behalf of American interests.

Too bad, because the best defense is to have no enemies and the strongest road to prosperity is to make sure properity is abundant. Instead we have war, corruption, poverty, full prisions, not enough security people to keep us safe and the right to be shot by an armed society is full supported. Oh I forgot to mention, the right to die from some treatable sickness because of the lack of means has also been assured. Exactly what is this freedom that everyone is brainwashed to beleive is being protected? Where is it?

I'm free and I don't have to worry about being shot, or being financially destroyed by an illness or being swindled or not having a bank to depend on or a home to live in. I think I'm allot more free, yet you guys continue to be brainwashed that somehow settling for less makes you more free. It makes only the top 2% more free and you are under their boot. So it's time to send a clear message that the US does want to be free and you should not take it any more.

How about the ugly truth, I suspect too much for many.
