Undoing it does not suddenly

Undoing it does not suddenly make it legal for her. She is a damn crook, just like BHO.

Hillary Clinton

Excuse me....since you are a judical watch you surely should be current with your information...President Bush recently signed a directive reducing Hillary's salary to the before the "raise" stage. Which makes her eligible.....Something that has been done before...therefore nullifying and voiding your post...sure is a shame you don't really WATCH....

Hillary Clinton +$4,700

If YOU had been watching, you would have noticed that the exact same dollar amount of reduction in Hillary's "new pay" matched the increase just approved by Congress for the 111th Congress (Hillary included). So, by way of fancy footwork, she keeps the increased pay. Just to really burn your shorts, I would like to point out the approval rating of Congress is at an all time low of 9% (last I checked). I do believe if my approval rating at work was 9%, I would be fired (possibly "blacklisted").

Excuse Me???

Excuse Me BUT you are totally INCORRECT.

If you ever actually read the clause in our Constitution you would find that Judicial Watch is Absolutely CORRECT!!!

It does not matter if they lower her salary now down to ZERO, the increase in Secretary of State's salary was STILL raised while she was a US Senator. Therefore, she is INELIGIBLE to hold the office. It does not matter what her salary gets lowered to NOW, the problem already happened. Get it?

to the post HILLARY CLINTON on 12/31/08 @ 1755

"sure is a shame you don't really WATCH...."

watch what?? CNN??

UH OH

OOOPS Judicial watch is really gonna hear it from the lefties now. Your "review" is simply old news to some of us, but at least you guys found out about William Ayers and so-called illegal payments to
Barry. Some of us knew this stuff 6 months ago. If you guys need anymore info about the corruptacrats, email me!

Corruption in Washington

The usual suspects, yet the frightening part is that these people inlude our President-elect, Secratary of State; AKA The Most Powerful Woman in the World, the head of the Senate Banking Commitee (Sen Dodd was responsible for the financial scandal at Freddie and Fannie with Obama, since they both benefitted the most financially of all senators from these entities).
This year, with these criminals in charge of our nation, promises to make 2008 look like a walk in the park.

TRASH

AS LONG AS THE PEOPLE CONTINUE TO ELECT TRASH, HOW CAN THEY BITCH SO LOUDLY??!! HAVE SOME CHARACTER,PEOPLE!!!! HAVE'NT YOU EVER HEARD OF GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT? DAMN!!!!!! IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS CHARACTER IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

Dishonorable people in Washington

How did you possibly miss Sen. Ted Kennedy? We all know his past. To that, add the fact that he's tried for years to make the US known as Mexico North, and pretty well succeeded.

Perhaps due to his illness, you have been more kind that I, but he is legend for leading this country into the worst situation possible. He closed his eyes and convinced many in Congress to do the same. Thus, we have a nation without enforcement of immigration laws, but I guess there aren't many illegals living the good life in the enclaves on the upper east coast. No, they're living here with the rest of us that he promised to protect and defend. Thanks, Senator

Another name that should be on the list...

is that of Barney Frank (D-MA); from his in-house escort service to having a romantic involvement with a director of Fannie (or was it Freddie?) while he was charged with oversight of their financial dealings, he has proven his corruption beyond any doubt. Oh, and what about Attorney General-almost-elect, Ron Holder(D-IL)? His hands are certainly not clean either.

Another one who was missed

How could you possibly miss Barney Frank and John Murtha and Rahm Emanuel and Chuckie Schumer.

Top Ten most corrupt

Come on people, lets do something about these knuckleheads in DC!!! Don't bitch it won't do any good! Get with your State reps and insist on a Consitutional Convention. This is the only way anything is going to change!!!!

Christopher Cox

No mention of this "wonderful" guy. Why not Barnie Frank? Its always Frank and Dodd but not Cox. He's the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chairman, but gets a free pass from Judicial Watch.

I'm surprised, unless Judicial Watch is doing it secretly, that they are'nt joining another "wonderful" guy Alan Keyes to claim president elect Obama is not a citizen.

January 21 can't come too soon, but conservatives will continue to complain and complain and try to win the house in 2010.

Hillary eligible because Bush signed directive?

How did you come to that conclusion, Rick554. I saw nothing in the clause that said it could be overridden at the convienience of politicains.

"No Senator or Representative shall, during the time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil office under the authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time: and no person holding any office under the United States, shall be a member of either House during his continuance in office.

A Constitutional Convention to fix the problems?

In reply to marchiker, A Constitutional Convention (aka Con-Con) is the WRONG thing to fix any problems. A Con-Con cannot be limited to one matter only. Therefore, it can throw open our wonderful Constitutional Republic (majority rule with minority rights) to be gutted and replaced with a democracy (mob rule - which the founders warned us against) or a dictatorship.

The founding fathers recognized their mistake AFTER the U.S. Constitution was formed. In the first Con-Con, the Constitution was amended from all states agreeing on an Amendment for changing the Constitution to 3/4 of the states agreeing. They recognized that, if they opened another Con-Con to fix their mistake, it could cause further damage to the Constitution. a Con-Con has never been held since.

Where's Barney Frank?

He should be on the top of the list (and possibly in prison) for the damage he's done to our economy.

Art.1, Sec. 6, Cl. 2...

Silly silly people! Art.1,Sec.6, Cl.2, was written so as to prevent a sitting President from "buying" support from a sitting senator or rep. with a future appointment as a bribe! Since Hillary will immeadiatly take the position as Sec. of State, she will not have the opportunity to vote on any legislation that Obama will support. There for the "Raise in pay" is a moot point! Does not apply! you are looking for excuses to pile on Hillary.
I personally Can't Stand the Woman,(I use the trem woman only in an effort to keep it clean), she is corrupt as well as ugly and needs to remove herself from the public relm! But this line of logic does not work.

Ken Salazar & Hilda Solis

Where are Ken Salazar and Hilda Solis on your list? Both fall into the same problem as Hillary Clinton with respect to both being constitutionally ineligible to serve as Secretary of Interior and Labor respectively.

Why are they missing? Oh yeah, neither has the last name Clinton.

Corrupt Politics

How about Harry Reid and his shaky land deals with his sons?

TOP TEN AND MORE

It is really sad when people can think of 100 or more of our country's leaders that could be added to this list. The founding fathers would never recognize our nation as the one they fought so hard to create and laid down such specific plans to maintain and grow. Unfortunately, the constitution is less and less observed and we have fallen into a state of a lack of responsibility for our actions and a lack of learning about the leaders we intend to elect to office. Our courts have not ruled for what is best for the country, but for what is best for a particular individual. If I remember correctly this is the ultimate path to anarchy. No nation on this earth has ever endured for long on this planet and I am afraid ours may be the next to fail and fade into the mist of time. With the election of Barrack Hussein Obama combined with the democratic cohorts such as Reid, Pelosi, Frank, Kennedy and the list could go on...we are facing a crisis, but few people recognize it except for those outside our country who watch and wait for their opportunity. Our internal struggles are the death knell of any nation. I believe the only way to turn this situation around is for all of us to pray for this country, but unfortunately we have even taken "God" out of all of our government buildings, classrooms, public places. I guess this country will have to go it on its own...God help us.

You are so right, God save

You are so right, God save us

A Bit Partisan, Don't You Think?

What a joke of a list. You guys must be shills for the Republican party trying to pass yourselves off as an unbiased organization intent on uncovering corruption in government.

It appears you've added Republicans to this list, only if they are currently involved in definite investigations and/or who have been recently convicted to make it look like you're truly interested in uncovering corruption on both sides. However, you mention no one in the Bush Administration? How about former Atty Gen Gonzalez or former SOD Rumsfeld at least? The list of those who appear suspicious of corruption in the Bush Administration is longer and more supportable than what the right claims as implications of Obama.

Then there's the obvious deletion of Blagojevich. You include only the most embattled of Republicans, yet leave off the list one of the only prominent Democrats actually charged with a crime right now?

This list is a joke. It treats lose accusations against Democrats as facts written in stone, when many are no more than rumor and innuendo, all with the intent of making the Democratic Party look like it is filled with corruption by every member up to the top of its ranks. Yet the Republicans by your standards would seem to be the image of ethics and integrity in government, who only have a few insignificant members with little known names operating corruptly on their own accord. I'm surprised that just to make the list look balanced, you didn't make it a top 20 list, forget about the year, and go ahead and include Duke Cunningham plus everyone convicted in the Abramoff scandal.

hillery as Sec.of State

So why isn't Judicial Watch filing a lawsuit to keep hillery out of the Sec. of State office?? Where's the media, where's the press releases?....Where's the outrage?....LOL.....

Unbiased? Come on

Be careful, Judical Watch, you might fall over from leaning so far to the right.

As others have mentioned, how could you miss the crooks, liars, murderers, and war mongers, like Bush, Cheney (possibly the devil himself), Rice, Rumsfeld, Clark, and all of the 911 commissioners, ... oh, the list is too long.

Nice try at appearing to be fair and balanced. Maybe you are run by Murdoch?

I will find a real watchdog group to follow the corruption. JW is a joke.

Life style on the line?

I think we have many problems, corruption is the vilest. There is difference between right and wrong. This is what we should be fighting for not whose Republican or Democrat. Until there's an uprising by the people in the middle not take this corruption from politicians we will be doomed. Remember divide and conquer?

This is how the Republicans came to power in 1856 as a 3rd party along with the Democrats and Whigs. Maybe we need a third party for the people in the middle not extremists on the right and left. A party that would be for the constitutional rights and common sense of the people.

It sickens me to see the American people hood winked by these politicians. I feel the time will come that the common man revolts and ushers in a new majority party.

Our fore fathers put their life on the line for our country. Politicians now won't even put their lifestyle on the line for theirs.

Saxbe Fix means Judicial Watch is wrong about Clinton

Named for Senator William B. Saxbe of Ohio, named to the post of United States Attorney General by then-President Richard Nixon, the technique is to reduce the pay of the office to which the candidate is appointed to the amount prior to any vote the candidate may have voted on.

The issue has arisen repeatedly since, e.g. when George W. Bush who appointed Tony P. Hall Ambassador to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization. It is primarily used as a political football by the candidate's political foes and/or rivals.

You have to be kidding me.

You have to be kidding me. George W. Bush isn't on your list??? You are no more credible than Rush L, and he's an idiot. (and I'm a moderate, so that tells you something).

Thanks for the laugh...

Wow. I haven't laughed that hard since... well, since yesterday when I heard that Arlen Specter is switching teams.

You guys rock, seriously. This is some of the best satire (...or is it parody? I get those two confused...) on the web.

And the beauty is that you pull it off with a straight face. That's SO cool. I mean, to produce a list called the "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians" and to NOT include George W. Bush. Comic genius!

Keep up the good work! And remember.... dying is easy. Comedy is hard.
